The Nobel Prize in Physics is Awarded to Marie and Pierre Curie (and Antoine Henri Bacquerel, who was unable to make it) for their "extraordinary services they have rendered by their researches on radioactivity."

Hello, my name is Marie Curie. I was born on November 7, 1867 in Warsaw, Poland. My favourite fields in Science are chemistry & physics.
I was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in physics for my work on Radioactivity. I won another Nobel Prize in chemistry for my discoveries for radium and polonium.

Why hello there, I'm Pierre. I came into this world on May 15, 1859 in Paris, France. In 1895, I got my Doctor of Science degree and became a Physics Professor.
My wife Marie, and I were inspired by our fellow scientist Henri Becquerel to go in depth with Radioactivity. We discovered that the mineral called pitchblende was far more active than uranium.
